2007 Miss Canada Plus Pageant

Toronto, Ontario- November 2007-Two queens were crowned at the 4th Annual Miss Canada Plus and Mini Miss Canada Pageant Grand Coronation and Award Show. Stephanie Conover, 22 years old and 11 year-old Renee Mitchell won the titles, Miss Canada Plus 2007, and Mini Miss Canada 2007 respectively.

The event featured 16 contestants; Stephanie Conover sponsored by Secrets from Your Sister, Renee Mitchell sponsored by Bertrand Auto Collision, Abbygail Acham sponsored by Genesis Dress Designs, Krysia Scherlinger- Kaladel Designs, Akelia Ellington by Sa’ila Designs, Susie-Ann Holt – Maximum Woman, Kadean Martin by Sandals & Beaches Resorts, Channon Litchmore- Fairweather, Annika Reid –House of Lorraine, Brooke Ferreira- Penningtons & Addition Elle, Reshonda Mason by The Upper Room Catering, Kenya Eugene –Tropical Desire’s Restaurant, Linda Holder- Onyx Barbers, Breanna Phillip – 24/7 Express Courier, Katherine Valdez – Caribbean Corner and Paula Ortiz- Diners Corner all put on a grand showcase at the Cardinal Carter Academy of the Arts, at 36 Greenfield Avenue in Toronto.

The show ran under the theme “Big Sisters, Little Sisters for all Seasons.” The function was staged by Synergy Productions Canada Inc., founded by multi-talented artiste Selbert Booth, in collaboration with the Miss Canada Plus Pageant Organization established by Glenora Joseph.

MC's were journalists Michael Yarde, Jas Ryat of Tdot. Tv, and Toronto comic Keesha Brownie. The panel of judges included journalist Jill Andrew, Business woman Penny Cromwell, Editor of Canada Extra Neil Armstrong, business woman Mary Polenz, columnist Mike Strobel, actress and Editor of Ethnic Umbrella Sandra Witter, Tdot.tv creator, Justin Edmead, and retired Canadian high jumper Milt Ottey.
